What You'll Get to Do:

• Be part of the core team driving the uplift of Goldman Sachs' core software distribution platforms, optimizing throughput, latency, scalability, and resilience.

• Collaborate with skilled engineers across the globe and contribute to developing open-source quality tooling and infrastructure.

Key Technical Skills:

Golang, Java, C++, Python, Shell Scripting, Perl, Linux, DevOps, SRE, Distributed Systems, Infrastructure (networks, storage)

Requirements:

• Strong programming proficiency in compiled and scripting languages such as Golang, Java, C++, Python, and Shell.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Passion for engineering high-quality software with performance and scalability in mind.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, diverse, and global team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with eagerness to take ownership and innovate.

Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):

• Experience contributing to open-source projects or developing internal software libraries.
• Background in infrastructure systems (e.g., storage, networks, cloud platforms).
• Exposure to financial systems or fintech platforms is a bonus.
